Goodbye Acne. Hello Clear Skin.

NeoClear by Aerolase®
Drug-Free Acne Clearance

NeoClear by Aerolase acne therapy is the perfect solution for all ages and all skin types who suffer from all severities of acne.

This safe, effective, and tolerable treatment is quickly becoming the ''go-to'' treatment for patients suffering from acne.

We treat all skin types and all ages. Treatments are safe, effective, and tolerable treatment for acne. There is no downtime!

NeoClear eliminates the major factors causing acne including excess sebum production, inflammation, and  p. acnes bacteria. Typically, many different treatments, medications, or skin care options are required to address these factors and still have no impact on the damage that has been done to the skin surface and dermis. The unique 650 Microsecond Technology™ allows energy to penetrate deeply into the skin within a highly safe and tolerable pulse to reduce sebum production, suppress inflammation, treat skin changes that foster bacteria, remove scars, and destroy the p. acnes bacteria to help clear current acne breakouts and to stop them in the future.

The deep heating energy helps build collagen, which can reduce the appearance of acne scars and leave skin looking radiant.

The treatment itself is very comfortable for patients, and the results can be seen quickly. This is an excellent option for patients that do not want to take prescription medications or are unable to tolerate them.

Acne treatments typically take between 10-30 minutes depending on the severity of acne and the size of the area affected (face, neck, chest, torso). Aerolase is highly safe, effective, and tolerable for all skin types, all ages, and all types of acne. Treatment may be performed without any skin cooling or anesthetic.

Acne Scar Revision by SpaGo

3 treatments by Dr. Mascia

What to expect at your visit

When you schedule a consult with Dr. Mascia, you will be presented with a treatment that makes the most sense to control your acne.  She will also review your current therapy and work with any specialists who may be helping you with your condition.  Some patients are currently using oral and/or topical retinoids, which can also be incorporated into treatment.

Acne is a chronic condition with many unfortunate ramifications that are not limited to local effects including life-long scarring.   Many sufferers also experience depression and lack of confidence.  The NeoSkin patented technology is a relatively painless approach to fighting acne.  It is not a cure (although scar revision is permanent) as there are many continuous factors at play including hormones.  However, it is a powerful adjuvant treatment and may, often, reduce the need for medications with unwanted side-effects.  Dr. Mascia will discuss this at your visit as well as medications that may need to be reduced or avoided prior to treatment such as minocycline.

Once you have consented to care, you will wear a pair of goggles to protect your eyes. Then, you will recline and relax while Dr. Mascia treats your inflammation, sebum, and bacteria broadly with a warm beam that feels a little like a hair dryer.  This is followed by stronger treatment to individual lesions.  You will then apply a sunscreen rated at 35 SPF or more and continue your daily routine.  Lunchtime sessions take only about 20-30 minutes.  You will need to follow up every two weeks to have a greater impact on bacteria, enlarged pores, sebum production, inflammation including feeder vessels, and scarring.  Some patients require 3 treatment and some require more.  We recommend having no less than 3.  Additional treatment may be required during flare-ups or prior to important events.  However, we do our best to recommend a helpful treatment that may reduce the need for additional treatment.  We take your acne seriously.  If you have any additional questions, please call or text 814-860-4995.
